PlaneTrader.eu ("we", "us") operates this website, a marketplace for buying and selling aircraft worldwide. For any privacy-related question, contact us at privacy@planetrader.eu.

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in readable form), and optionally a phone number.
• Listing data: everything you enter when listing an aircraft, including photos you upload (originals are discarded after resizing — only the resized copy is stored).
• Payment data: when you choose a paid plan, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we only keep a record of the plan purchased, the amount, and the date.
• Messages: when you contact a seller through a listing, we store your name, email, and message so we can forward it and so the seller can reply.
• Technical data: IP address (used only for spam prevention on the contact form), and a single essential session cookie that keeps you logged in.

Mainly to provide the service you've asked for: creating your account, publishing your listing, processing payments, and forwarding buyer enquiries. We also process IP addresses briefly to prevent spam and abuse of the contact form, which is a legitimate interest.

We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Mailgun — sending account and notification emails
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — converting your listing's country/region into map coordinates

We never sell your data, and we never share a seller's contact details publicly — buyer enquiries are always routed through our contact form.

Listings stay online for the duration of your free trial or paid plan, plus a grace period after expiry during which your data is kept (but not shown publicly) in case you want to relist. Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@planetrader.eu.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. It's required for the site to function and doesn't track you across other websites. We don't currently use any analytics or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
